Ca' le Scope is situated on 500 m. altitude in the superb, green, quiet nature park "Monte Sole" in the Apennines among nearly exclusively foliage trees such as chestnuts, oaks, fig-trees and heather here called "Scopa".
The name "Ca' le Scope" refers to the name of a farm which stood on the spot where the camp-site is situated now.
The surroundings with mounts up to 2000 m. invite to make strong walks but of course you can idle nicely at the swimming pool. The camp-site is also a very well operating base for visiting innumerable historically important places such as Bologna, Florence, Pisa, Modena, Verona (the opera city pre-eminently), Parma, Ferrara, Padua, Vincenza, Venice, Ravenna and Siena. Also the tiny state San Marino lies within range.
